RESOLUTION ON THE NEED OF COLLABORATION IN PROVIDING HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO
THE CARDIOVASCULAR PATIENTS
Considering the scientific basis of the recommendations on diagnostic
procedures, modes of the heart revascularization and the concomitant treatment
before, during and after the myocardial revascularization, including
rehabilitation, which were jointly laid down by the European Society of
Cardiology and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in the
Guidelines on Myocardial Revascularization,
Recognizing the recommendations of the Guidelines on Myocardial
Revascularization as a reasonable goal for introducing into the daily
practice,
Acknowledging differences between the target situation described in the
Guidelines on Myocardial Revascularization and the current situation in the
three Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania,
The Baltic Expert Meeting held in Copenhagen on 2011-01-18 agreed that in
order to successfully introduce the recommendations into the daily practice in
the Baltic countries actions are needed on all the levels of health care system:
in the health care services providing institutions, national organizations of
the cardiovascular professionals, ministries of health and other regulatory and
reimbursing authorities. The participants of the meeting jointly urge the
aforementioned national health care providers and authorities to seek ways of
enabling provision of the best reasonably possible health care services to the
cardiovascular patients before, during and after the myocardial
revascularization procedures.
Ypatingai norime padėkoti AstraZeneca vadybininkei Jovitai Butkevičienei,
kartu su kolegėmis iš Latvijos ir Estijos užtikrinusiai puikią pasitarimo
logistiką.
